Be Different

So then, let us pursue what makes for peace 

and for building up one another.

Romans 14:19

 I was asked what I thought about our country seemingly being torn apart.  I thought for a moment, and said "It's not our country.  It is Abba's to do with as He chooses. My job is to be an encourager to those who are discouraged. My job is to do my best to build others up. I cannot control anything about what's going on, but I can choose to be different." 

We have a choice: to look at all that is going on in the world and freak out, OR we can choose to BE the sense of calm in the midst of the storm by loving others enough to encourage them.

I may be weird because I choose to be different. So be it.  Who's with me?
